I feel like it's more important now than ever to stay true to myself. To practice coziness. I need it more than ever, and perhaps you do too. A little softness, peace, retreat, warmth, and security. But easier said than done, right?
Check-in
You know how it is: we're busy, everything around us is screaming, and with all the screaming, you can barely hear yourself. Sometimes my own head screams the loudest, you probably know that too. But what would be so refreshing for all of us is to leave that screaming behind for a moment and feel, hear, and experience what remains.
That applies to me too. I'm noticing it again now that I'm on vacation (yes, that's why that beautiful picture!). I need a lot of time for myself, peace and quiet to feel how I'm doing, what I value, and to connect with myself.
Authenticity
Because that last part isn't just incredibly rewarding—I'm talking about being true to yourself—it also allows you to be authentic. Simply yourself. You don't have to change yourself, form opinions, or adapt (besides the usual, of course ;-)), you can be yourself. Looking back, I discover I've been moving towards more and more authenticity for years. And it feels liberating and wonderful. It's also scary, yes, I admit. But it offers a counterbalance to all the shouting around me.
Cosiness
One way I get there is through coziness. But if you're a regular reader, you probably already know that. Coziness, for me, means softness, being gentle with myself, cozy, and keeping the world at bay for a while. It provides a moment of connection with myself. But sometimes it's just as simple as unwinding, by enjoying a cup of tea and reading a good book.
Shall we?
I'd say, give it a try! You'll find that a cozy moment always gives you something back. Maybe not exactly what you wanted, but in my experience, it's always exactly what's needed. So, shall we?
Instant cosiness
Did you know I now have 7 new plates for the seasonal lamp in the shop? Or how about 4 new cards that also fit perfectly in the cozy postcard lamp ? Or do you feel like you need some extra support? Then check out my messages from the forest!

Heel herkenbaar lieve Esther. Dat terug trekken als de wereld schreeuwt. En jouw prachtige illustraties dragen heel erg bij aan echte cosiness! Wat zijn ze prachtig allemaal! Lieve groet, Sanne
