Living in rhythm with the seasons, I love it! It's a recurring theme in my illustrations and writings. How wonderful would it be to receive an envelope on your doormat each season, helping you to bring the season a little closer? To experience nature's natural rhythm? I realised I really wanted that myself, so the conclusion was: I'm going to make it!
After months and months of preparation, research, and testing, I finally succeeded. The Seasonal Messenger is born. Every season (5, because Christmas is also a season this time ;-)) an envelope with a letter, a unique print, and other seasonal goodies on your doormat.
The proofs and trials for autumn are on my desk, nothing final yet, just to see what exactly I wanted to create. You know, all those tests and research I talked about. And it makes me so incredibly happy! It seems wonderful to receive, but I also find it incredibly fun to make, paint, write, and compile. And honestly? For me as a creator, it's also a way to live even closer with the seasons.

Ik word al blij als ik eraan denk dat deze post op de mat ligt! Dan zet ik een kopje thee, steek een kaarsje aan en maak er een cosy moment van helemaal voor mezelf!
Wat een gaaf idee en zo heerlijk om bewust stil te staan bij de seizoenen. Ik kijk er enorm naar uit!
